Peace Be Upon You
♥
Like every other girl on social media I love purchasing and playing with makeup. My signature look is all about focusing that attention on a flawless base and a nice lip colour. I’ve always been too scared to mess about with eyeshadows, more like I’m awful at blending.
I don’t own too many eyeshadow palettes but I do have some beautiful colours in my collection, that often go unused because I don’t know how to use them. Also, I prefer a subtle, natural look anyways. However, for the days I want to look glam-er than usual I end up looking like a racoon so I wanted to practice my skills a little more.
Because of this, I’ve decided to invest in eye makeup brushes and because I’m a newbie I didn’t want to get expensive brushes, hence I opted for these. I came across these brushes on Safiyah’s blog: http://safiyahtasneem.blogspot.co.uk (aka Frootibeauty) after reading this [p o s t] – where she listed some great Ebay dupes for some other brushes too, super cheap and affordable! I’m not really going to do a review as she did a perfect job at it, I mean look at me – I’ve made a purchase off her recommendation! #SafiyahMadeMeDoIt
I’m sharing my purchase with ya’ll incase you’re like me and want some cheap tools to create a dramatic effect without splurging and investing too much.
They’re reasonably soft and easy to use/ blend and would recommend them as they’re a great starting point. The reason I opted for these brushes is because the sets including many blending brushes which I can use for the various transitional colours required for a look.
